We're wrapping up 2009 with our final edition of Kainos News. It's been quite a challenging year for all but thankfully things have remained reasonably busy at Kainos.
You'll notice that much of our news this quarter is focused around the health industry. During the year Kainos began working with a number of Health Trusts and based on this work, developed ConnectPatient, a solution that provides instant access to electronic patient medical records. It's built on document and records management techniques and technologies - an area that Kainos is very familiar with.
In addition to our health news we've got our usual customer focus. This time we profile Havant Borough Council. The Havant EDRM project also won "Public Sector Project of the Year" at the recent Document Management Awards, an accolade we're very proud of.
On this occasion, we'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone the very best this Christmas and we hope you have a Happy New Year.

The intelligent scanning solution from Kainos goes beyond the vanilla scanning that trusts and hospitals may be used to. Peader McCaffery, one of our scanning experts tells us a little more about Kainos's intelligent scanning solutions, or ConnectCasenotes. Read more
