Evolve's new iPad App Gives Clinicians Patient Record Access on the Move

HEALTH+IN4MATICS 2012, Birmingham ICC May 9th, 2012 Kainos has today announced the launch of its Evolve? iPad app enabling clinicians to always have their patients' medical records with them at the point of care. This new mobile capability, which is being implemented at a number of NHS hospitals, further builds on this next-generation EMR solution's ability to accelerate the delivery of critical healthcare processes while delivering step changes in efficiency and patient care. Armed with the new iPad app clinicians will have immediate access to their inpatient and outpatient lists. They also have complete visibility of the entire Evolve medical record including scanned and electronic documents, photos, videos and audio and a host of other capabilities enabling them to access the relevant information at the point of care delivery, whether on ward rounds or in clinics. Clinicians using the new Evolve iPad app have:
    • Immediate access to their inpatients and outpatients lists
    • Visibility of patient's entire Evolve medical record
    • Integrated viewing of scanned documents, electronic documents, photos, videos and audio contained with the Evolve medical record
    • Easy navigation of patient's medical record by speciality, tabs, encounter, time and bookmarks
    • Freedom to complete and submit patient forms to add to the medical record.
"Accessing and inputting information at the point of care will transform the day to day delivery of healthcare at NHS hospitals and we are delighted to be driving this reality with Evolve's integrated mobile capability,' said Deirdre O'Neill head of the Evolve healthcare division at Kainos. 'We have created this new app in conjunction with NHS clinicians and taken close account of their demands, from how it should look to the key functions and tasks it should deliver. The result is this new easy to use, portable, flexible iPad app that is optimised for use in inpatient, outpatient and community contexts.' Drop by the Evolve stand (104) at the HEALTH+IN4MATICS 2012 event in Birmingham on May 9-10. More at http://www.in4matics.co.uk/
