Based in London, Brian manages Kainos GB and is Head of Business Development. Brian has almost 30 years of achievement in IT in blue-chip organisations. His previous career includes leading roles in Accenture and Capgemini, where he led the Financial Services practice. Brian has also worked in senior line roles in Standard Chartered Bank and at Allied Irish Banks, where he was Chief Information Officer from 1998 to 2002. His work has taken him around the globe and he has lived and worked in France, Switzerland, USA, Hong Kong, Singapore and Mumbai.

In recent years, Brian’s work has been mainly in the not-for-profit and healthcare sectors. He currently advises CEOs of NHS Trusts, and chairs the Dissemination committee of the Verve consortium, a European healthcare initiative linking academia, healthcare professionals and technologists. Brian is also an academic and writer: he is a visiting research fellow and lecturer at the University of London, and is currently editing a collection of essays on the social aspects of Information Technology in the corporation.
