Developed with NHS clinicians and managers, Evolve Electronic Medical Record (EMR) takes Trusts’ document management activities to the next level – creating a fully integrated EMR solution capable of accelerating the delivery of critical healthcare processes and delivering step changes in efficiency and patient care.
Evolve is much more than an EDM solution. It is a sophisticated workflow, e-forms and reporting platform, providing the foundation for transformative improvements in healthcare. This powerful EMR solution can enhance or prepare the ground for EPR initiatives, delivering real results – for patients and for budget-holders.
Evolve offers three major advantages:
- Mobile access to critical systems for clinicians on the ward and out in the community
- Advanced process management delivered through a sophisticated, integrated workflow, e-forms and reporting platform
- Patient status management, through the use of a visual dashboard which prompts next actions as part of a patient’s treatment regime
The award-winning Evolve EMR is being used extensively across a range of high profile UK Trusts.

Vendor Neutral Archives – Supporting the exchange of medical images and fuller patient records with other healthcare providers
Following the discontinuation of the NHS’s Connecting for Health programme many Trusts are reviewing the way that they store and treat medical images, now that they no longer have to use expensive regional systems. For some Trusts this presents an opportunity to develop a consolidated content strategy, combining medical image content with other patient notes in a single repository – as part of a comprehensive electronic patient record (EPR) or electronic medical record (EMR) initiative.
Whether Trusts want to go down this route, or simply ensure that image content can be exchanged readily with other Trusts and partner healthcare providers in the community, Evolve’s content management systems can be adapted to incorporate a fully compliant vendor-neutral archive (VNA) facility for medical images as part of these strategies.
