We are currently recruiting for Senior Consultants who will deliver small to medium sized specialist assignments which achieve business benefit and may evolve into projects for Kainos. Working closely with the client, this role requires an experienced consultant with a strong business background and excellent interpersonal skills.

A Senior Consultant is expected to be able to plan their time and work with the extended project team to ensure the specification of requirements and the delivery of the solution within agreed project deadlines. Our ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, with at least 4 year’s experience in a relevant commercial or technical environment, of which at least 3 years will be in a consulting role. EDRM experience is desirable, along with experience in other business applications environments, e.g. CRM, BPM. SharePoint and/or MS Dynamics CRM experience a plus.

With at least one consulting specialism and the adaptability to embrace new disciplines, the successful candidate will have a strong track-record which will include the following:

Strong consulting background and demonstrable Business and IT aptitude
Experience of at least one major business vertical (e.g. Health, Financial Services, Government).
Broad business & technology understanding & a good awareness of industry.
Experience of working with at least 2 major clients & building strong client relationships.
Experience of creating and working to project plans and leading small teams.
Good commercial awareness and sound understanding of project and business dynamics.
Supporting Sales teams to ascertain project scope and high level requirements.

A high level of flexibility is required, including willingness to travel to customer sites mainly in the UK and Ireland.
