Workday Financials Practice Lead

We are looking for an experienced senior-level individual to set up and develop our Workday Financials practice. The job will be a combination of team recruitment and development, development of the service offering to customers and helping the sales team win Financials business for our practice



  • Creation and development of a Workday Financials team covering implementation projects and post deployment support
  • Close liaison with the Workday sales and business development staff working in the Financials area
  • Development of the Kainos customer offering in this area and originating thought leadership and other marketing content
  • Liaison with the Kainos Worksmart LDP team on platform deals
  • Assistance in responding to RFI/RFPs, and in pre-sales activities to win business
  • Building the credibility of Kainos in the Workday Financials space and more broadly in the space of Financial Management systems implementations


Required experience

  • Experience of implementing Workday Financials would be a great advantage but not a pre-requisite for this role
  • Experience of implementing ERP Financials packages e.g. SAP. Oracle eBusiness Suite, PeopleSoft etc is pretty much essential, ideally multiple projects with different types and sizes of organizations
  • Experience of building a team in multiple locations and at different seniority levels is highly desirable
  • Experience of a range of roles across sales, delivery, development etc would be preferable
  • Ideally a background in Finance e.g. trained accountant
