Kainos CEO Brendan Mooney crowned EY Entrepreneur of the Year?

Belfast, 28 October 2016 Kainos is today celebrating after CEO, Dr Brendan Mooney, was crowned EY Entrepreneur of the Year? at a gala awards ceremony in Dublin on Thursday evening. In addition to scooping the highest accolade, Brendan also took home the award for Best International Entrepreneur. EY Entrepreneur of the Year?, now in its 19^th year in Ireland, is a ten-month development programme designed to challenge and inspire its 24 finalists, who are selected to take part after a round of nominations and consideration by an independent judging panel. This year's programme and its finalists were profiled in a TV series which aired on UTV, with the episode featuring Brendan and Kainos available to view for a limited time, here. This latest accolade rounds off a bumper year of awards success for the company, which celebrated being a 'Sunday Times Best Company' for the 4^th consecutive year, coming in at number 37 in February 2016.
