Kainos recognised as one of nation's best places to work

London, UK 9 January 2015 Kainos, digital technology solutions company has been named in the Sunday Times Top 100 places to work for the third consecutive year. The company embodies a people-first approach, focusing on personal growth and community development, and earned this national accolade as it continues to expand in London, Belfast, Bristol and Swansea.

Kainos has committed itself to developing talent in digital technology. This is shown through its career management schemes designed to offer employees the professional and personal development needed to build progressive and diverse careers. The outcome is a motivated, happy team that not only enjoys digital technology, but enjoys the Kainos approach.

'We love talented people and want to make an inspiring and encouraging home for them here,' commented Colette Kidd, Head of Talent Development at Kainos. 'We have programmes in place to drive the development of top talent in the industry, at every stage of experience. Appearing once again in the Sunday Times Top 100 list is a great honour and a tribute to our amazing career ladder, creative coaching and community 'camps'. I'm very proud of our team that make these things happen.'

Through its products and solutions, Kainos is positively impacting the lives of millions of citizens. It is introducing radical improvements in NHS hospitals, for example by allowing clinicians to carry patient records on iPads using Kainos Evolve?. Its software allows UK voters to register online for the first time, saving money for the taxpayer and streamlining the democratic process. Its engineers helped deploy and now support the databases and systems that allow drivers in the UK to view their driving records online.

The company continues to create jobs in the UK. In the last year, more than 150 positions, from graduate to experienced professionals, have been recruited. That drive to add top talent to the award-winning team continues this year, supported by an active recruitment campaign in England and Wales.

This year's Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For survey is the 15th annual ranking of the cream of Britain's motivated workforces. It is acknowledged as the most searching and extensive research into employee engagement carried out in this country. All the scores and ratings that are assessed to compile the lists are based on employee opinions.
