Work experience with Kainos

Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of technology and unlock your future potential? 

We’re delighted to offer students aged 14-19 around the UK an amazing insight into what it’s like to work in IT through our virtual and in-person work experience sessions.

What to Expect: 

  • Get a behind the scenes glimpse at life inside a growing global tech company and get hands on experience with the tools we use to help change the world. 
  • Dig into the foundations of software engineering, learning the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 
  • Let your creativity flow with an introduction to Generative Artificial Intelligence. 
  • Learn how we keep our data safe against a world of cyber threats. 
  • Discover a world of career possibilities and gain insights from tech professionals in a dynamic career panel discussion.  
  • Collaborate on an interactive project that showcases your newfound skills.  

No clue about IT or coding? No problem! At the start of the week you’ll be assigned a mentor who’s there to help every step of the way. We will help to grow your skills, teach you more about the world-changing projects we work on, and we’ll demo some of the cutting-edge technologies that we use. You’ll then put everything you’ve learned into action in fun challenges and tasks.
