Kainos experts elected to 3 techUK councils
Kainos continues to be at the forefront of shaping strategy and engaging stakeholders within the UK tech industry – with Andy Kemp, Jack Dix and Adam Watkins appointed to councils at trade association techUK. The councils are elected by techUK’s membership, with representatives serving two-year terms.

Andy Kemp, Head of Public Sector at Kainos, will serve on techUK’s Central Government Council
The Central Government Council represents suppliers working with Government, helping to lead the debate on new technologies, optimise the use of existing capabilities and engage with departments and the centre. The council works to set the strategic direction of techUK's Central Government Programme, reflecting member priorities and providing a means for the public sector to engage with industry.
Andy has over 25 years of experience in digital and data transformation and is a leader in championing public sector innovation and AI. As Head of Public Sector at Kainos, he is responsible for setting the division’s strategic direction, ensuring operational efficiency and delivery excellence across 60% of UK ministerial Government departments. Under his leadership, Kainos has delivered multiple exemplar projects, including the implementation of the new Border Target Operating Model for Defra and the overhaul of HMCTS’s legacy case management system ResCase with LowCode.
Jack Dix, Healthcare Strategy Director at Kainos, will serve on techUK’s Health and Social Care Council
techUK's Health and Social Care Council provides leadership across a variety of opportunities and challenges relating to digital transformation. It works in collaboration with the techUK Health and Social Care Programme to provide strategic advice, represent member interests and support stakeholder engagement.
Jack brings two decades of experience leading large-scale digital change, with expertise in strategy development and product leadership in healthcare. He has hands-on digital delivery experience across a wide range of use cases at a national, regional and local level – driving innovation, enhancing collaboration and identifying opportunities to improve patient outcomes.
Adam Watkins, Public Sector Strategy and Sales Director at Kainos, will serve on techUK’s Growth Council
The Growth Council leads techUK’s work on economic growth and acts as a sounding board for the government and MPs as the UK seeks to increase the rate of economic growth by leveraging technology and the tech sector.
Adam has been an instrumental figure at Kainos, driving significant growth and innovation in the UK, Europe and Americas. His leadership and vision have not only propelled Kainos to new heights but have also made substantial contributions to the broader tech community. He actively participates in tech forums and industry events, recently sharing insights at the Labour Party Conference 2024 on the importance of AI, technology adoption and skills. His commitment to diversity and inclusion in tech has been widely recognised, and he is 1 of 20 representatives on Microsoft’s global AI/Data Partner Advisory Council, making him a respected leader and advocate for technology growth.
