Davis Pier joins Kainos Group plc
Belfast (Northern Ireland), 19th September, 2025 – Kainos Group plc (KNOS), a UK-headquartered digital transformation company, today announces that Davis Pierrynowski Limited (“Davis Pier”), a Canadian consultancy known for its work in the public sector, has joined the Kainos group of companies.
This marks a significant step in Kainos’ North American growth strategy, strengthening its presence in Canada and expanding its capabilities in delivering transformation across public, healthcare and community services.
Since 2022, Kainos and Davis Pier have worked in close partnership to support digital transformation across Canadian government and healthcare organisations. Together, the teams have delivered impactful projects including the modernisation of the Registry of Motor Vehicles, the advancement of Nova Scotia’s healthcare systems, and improvements to early learning and childcare services.
Founded in Halifax in 2014, Davis Pier brings deep expertise in policy, service design and change management. The company will form part of the Digital Services division of Kainos, retaining its leadership team and brand identity.
Together, Kainos and Davis Pier are committed to helping governments modernise services, empower communities, and create lasting value for citizens across Canada.
The terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
