Kainos Announces Record Profits and Revenue Growth

London, UK - July 10th, 2013 - Digital Solutions company Kainos today announced record revenue and profit growth for its financial year ending March 2013. Revenue has increased 17% to £29.7 million (from £25.4 million in 2012) and profit has increased by 75% to £3.5 million (from £2.0 million in 2012). Growth has been spurred by the company's engagement in the UK public sector, where it is now actively engaged with Government Digital Services (GDS) and other government departments; by its successful partnership with global software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Workday; and by the continuing success of its flagship electronic medical record (EMR) product Evolve in the UK NHS. Managing Director Brendan Mooney said: 'This has been a landmark year for Kainos, across the board. We exceeded targets on sales, revenue and profit, and expanded our headcount and footprint in the UK and Poland. I attribute this excellent set of results to our people and their commitment to Kainos and our customers.' 'Our expertise in designing and implementing digital solutions for our customers has helped us gain significant market traction. Our partnership with various departments in the UK public sector has proven to be particularly fruitful. We are delighted to see our flagship Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solution, Evolve?, successfully deployed in nine large NHS Trusts this year. Further, our key strategic partnership with Workday, the leader in enterprise cloud applications for HR and Finance, has opened up substantial opportunities for us across Europe and in North America.' Brendan continues, 'We expect further significant growth in the coming year, driven by an exceptionally strong portfolio of products and services.' Click here to view the annual report.
