We’re delighted to announce that Kainos has been awarded a place on all 4 Lots of the G-Cloud 14 Framework spanning Cloud Hosting, Cloud Software, Cloud Support and Cloud Services DPS (Dynamic Purchasing System) across data analytics, AI (artificial intelligence), and machine learning.

G-Cloud 14, administered through Crown Commercial Services (CCS) gives a mechanism for Public Sector organisations in the UK to procure cloud-based computing services, and is part of the UK’s ongoing efforts to modernise and digitise public services, ensuring they are more efficient and responsive to the needs of citizens. An estimated £7.5 billion in business opportunities is available on the G-Cloud 14 framework representing a 50% increase from the £5 billion available on G-Cloud 13.

Our ambition under G-Cloud 14 is to support the Labour Government’s objectives to transform public services and fuel economic growth by embracing leading edge delivery approaches and emerging technologies specifically AI and Low Code.

At Kainos, we leverage AI capabilities to deliver innovative solutions that drive business value and operational efficiency for the Public Sector. Our teams can utilise low-code development to accelerate software delivery, reduce costs, and enhance collaboration between IT and business teams.

Andy Kemp, Head of Public Sector at Kainos, said, ‘For over 30 years, Kainos has partnered with Public Sector organisations, utilising advances in technology to address their unique needs and challenges. By leveraging AI and Low Code technologies, we can reimagine Government services, enhance the citizen-Government relationship, and help deliver on the Government’s ambition. Our commitment to innovation on the G-Cloud 14 framework will drive operational efficiency and quality public services.’

Kainos already has a proven record in delivering successful digital transformation projects under the G-Cloud 13 Framework.

  • We partnered with Homes England to help them become a data-driven organisation, by implementing a comprehensive data strategy, utilising Microsoft Azure for their data platform, and employing Power BI for business intelligence and visualisation.
  • Additionally, Kainos have been instrumental in supporting HM Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) with their platform operations. Our expertise in Azure has facilitated the migration and modernisation of HMCTS’s legacy services and applications, driving efficiencies and modernising the justice system in the UK.
  • We also recently delivered the first phase of a Residential Case Management System for HMCTS within 10 weeks using agile and low-code methods, transforming legacy systems into a web-based Power App.

Kainos is now an approved supplier for 20 lots across 14 UK government frameworks administered by CCS, which supports the public sector to gain the greatest commercial value when buying common goods and services.
