Kainos Shortlisted as HealthInvestor Awards 2014 finalist

London, UK - March 24^th, 2014 - Digital technology solutions company Kainos has been selected as a finalist in the HealthInvestor Awards 2014, thanks to the accelerating success of its flagship electronic medical records solution platform, Evolve EMR. The Awards recognise achievements in the independent healthcare sector. Kainos's nomination is in the hotly contested Technology Provider of the Year category.

2013 was a bumper year for Kainos's Evolve healthcare solutions business during which the Evolve team doubled in size, reflecting the business's phenomenal growth.

Evolve EMR is a specialist healthcare content management solution which automates the creation, capture and handling of medical case notes and operational documents and records. It was designed and continues to be developed collaboratively with real clinicians. Today it is used in more than 50 hospitals in the UK, as the NHS strives to become a paperless environment by 2018.

In 2013 Kainos won a series of new contracts for Evolve with a large number of high-profile Trusts, including Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. A number of high-profile implementations went live during the year too at establishments including Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust, and Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The HealthInvestor Awards will be presented at a ceremony on June 11^th at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, where the winners will be named.
