Kainos wins Company of the Year at this year’s PLC Awards
This year’s annual PLC Awards took place on Wednesday 22 September in London, with Kainos awarded the accolade of ‘Company of the Year’.
The PLC Awards acknowledge outstanding achievements from companies listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, including the FTSE 250, FTSE Small Cap and Fledgling indices. With thousands of organisations eligible, and a pool of notable fellow nominees, we are proud to have the company recognised with this award.
The Company of the Year award is given to an organisation that demonstrates longevity of success. And this success is not simply measured by an improving share price and profitability – it is also demonstrated by an effective strategy, responsible leadership, robust governance guidelines and a strong environmental and social conscience.
Recipients of the award have to demonstrate a sound understanding of their customers and stakeholders, with a commitment to sustainable growth, effective long-term thinking and sound, sensible financial planning, as well as being champions of diversity, inclusion and staff wellbeing.
With over 2,000 people working in 23 countries, our continued growth proves that this balanced approach to achieving success is a winning formula. Whether it’s spearheading large-scale digital transformation for the world’s biggest brands, helping organisations get the most out of Workday, or helping Government agencies deliver public services that positively impact millions of citizens, our method remains the same: harnessing the imagination, enthusiasm, and talent of our incredible people who, together with our customers, deliver game-changing results.

Brendan Mooney, Kainos CEO, said: “This award is a special one for us because it celebrates what we believe is important – our people and this award is a testament to their outstanding tenacity, creativity and passion. That’s what has driven Kainos to its tenth consecutive year of growth and I’m delighted that they’ve been recognised with the Company of the Year award.”
