Kainos Hires Seasoned Healthcare Professional, Anthony Dooher, to Spearhead Evolve? expansion in Ireland

Dublin & London November 17, 2014 - Digital technology solutions company Kainos has announced plans to expand its successful Evolve Electronic Medical Records platform into Ireland, with the appointment of senior healthcare practitioner and technology expert Anthony Dooher. Evolve automates the creation, capture and handling of medical case notes as well as operational documents and records. Easily adaptable to meet specific hospital requirement, Evolve is now used in more than 70 hospitals in the UK. Unlike many other products, Evolve was designed in conjunction with UK medical practitioners to meet the needs of NHS hospitals and clinics. As Ireland strives to achieve greater efficiencies in the way it manages patient administration and patient care, the optimised paper-free information environment enabled by Evolve is very appealing. Anthony Dooher, who will be based in Dublin, joins Kainos as head of the Evolve business in Ireland. Anthony is a healthcare professional by background, having qualified in 1996 as a diagnostic radiographer before moving into other medical roles, and subsequently into the Healthcare Technology market.
