Kainos is proud to continue supporting the NHS on its digital transformation journey, having been named as one of the 22 suppliers on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) new Digital Capability for Health 2 Framework.

DCFH2 will enable customers within the UK Government’s Public Health and Social Care program to access support for developing new digital solutions and managing existing ones.

Dan Kemp, Healthcare Director at Kainos, said: “The NHS is at a pivotal moment in its digital transformation, and we are proud to continue supporting its ambition to deliver smarter, more efficient, and more accessible healthcare services. Building on our proven track record of delivering population-scale healthcare services—from the NHS Apps in England and Wales to our Strategic Digital Partnership with Our Future Health - we are committed to helping the NHS harness the power of technology to drive innovation and long-term sustainability. Securing a place on this framework reaffirms our commitment to working in partnership with the NHS, creating digital solutions that empower staff, improve patient outcomes, and ensure the future resilience of our health service.”

The new framework, which can be used by NHS Trusts, hospitals, Clinical Commissioning Groups, and other healthcare institutions covers:

  • Development and operations (DevOps) – For ongoing minor improvements of live services
  • Digital definition services – Creating and progressing projects through discovery and alpha phases
  • Build and transition services – Building services using beta and live phases
  • End-to-end development services – Designing and developing services from discovery to live phases
  • Data management (and similar) services – For performing data collection, data processing and analysis and management of data and services

For the past four years, Kainos was a supplier on Digital Capability for Health 1, the predecessor to this new framework. With over a decade of experience in healthcare, we have collaborated with more than 100 organisations—including NHS England, the Department of Health and Social Care, NHS Wales, NHS Trusts, and the wider healthcare and life sciences ecosystem
