Acystant synopsis

Acystant is targeted at sufferers of Cystic Fibrosis aged between 0-18. The app will calculate the user's BMI and average daily calorie intake, as well as record and track changes in their BMI over time. It also offers food fortification tips to help users reach their target BMI.

How will it benefit users?

'My goal is to make it easier for families with children and teenagers that suffer from Cystic Fibrosis to create meals that help them reach and maintain their target BMI. By offering food fortification tips and calorie information for common food and drinks products, I hope that users find the app a useful and valuable aid to achieving their target.'

How have you found the AppCamp experience so far and what will you take away from it?

"I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the other AppCampers and our mentors and love the challenges that AppCamp has presented me with. I will take away the invaluable experience and knowledge of how to develop a quality iPhone app and I've improved my planning and time management skills which will be useful for any project I work on in the future."
