What you'll do
As a Senior Business Analyst and a vital part of the Scrum team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that your team has a grasp on the business needs, and will facilitate the analysis and design of cost-effective solutions; solutions which will improve the quality of people’s lives.
You’ll be responsible for articulating problems and proposed solutions in ways understood by all stakeholders and members of your team – both technical and business. You’ll work with others to build features and technical components of a product or service. You’ll identify any risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies to help ensure a successful delivery.
You’ll facilitate and participate in workshops and discussions, ultimately aiming to understand business problems and achieve a joint understanding of user needs.

Who you are:
You’re currently working in a commercial or technical environment, with experience as part of a consulting firm or other client-facing roles. You’ve worked in an Agile team and have experience in delivery. Your knowledge doesn’t stop there, as you have a strong understanding of other methodologies and frameworks such as Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban.
You’re great at communicating with your stakeholders - business or technical, are comfortable making constructive suggestions or challenging when required. You facilitate conversations with ease.
You thrive in Agile environments, and you are a competent user story creator, articulating the business and technical needs in a format that is easily consumable by the delivery team. You possess a great awareness of commercial realities and have a firm handle on project constraints.

Additional Info:
Kainos is a professional services organisation with clients spread across the globe and we deliver projects both from client site, and from our offices. While we will attempt to base you on projects near or at your contracted office location, you need to be willing to travel to client sites and spend time away during the week if it is required.
