Network, network, network

Its not all business! As well as a chance to learn, Workday Rising is also an opportunity to get out and meet new people. Connect with as many other attendees as possible to build lasting relationships.

There are user and industry groups but, beyond the formal settings, there are breakfast and lunches throughout the day – who knows who you might run into in the buffet line!

Don’t forget you’re in the City of Lights so after the conference each day there are lots of ways to connect with other attendees in a more relaxed setting. There are plenty of evening events, from drinks by the pool to karaoke and even casino nights – just don’t put it all on red!

Whatever you do, don’t be shy, you never know who you might meet or what you might learn from other people.

Explore the venue

This year’s Rising is in the Mandalay Bay Hotel, one of the largest conference centers in the world, so knowing your way around will come in handy during your jam-packed schedule.

On your first day, take a few hours to explore the main hall and see what’s on offer. Look around the Workday and partner booths to see some of the latest developments and innovations.

As well as partner booths, there are all kinds of hidden gems throughout the center, with games, photobooths, competitions and lots more. Also, be sure to wear comfortable shoes because you will definitely be hitting those step goals!

It’s Vegas, have some fun!

Although Rising is a great chance to speak to some amazing experts and gain some knowledge, it's not all serious!

There are plenty of opportunities to let your hair down with social events, lunches and evening entertainment. This year’s Vegas setting promises to bring more of the ‘craic’ (as we say in Ireland) than ever before. If you can only make a few events, we recommend visiting:

The Kainos Shamrock Party - This has become a highlight of the conference for many, earning a reputation over the years as a can’t-miss event. This year, The ShamRock is back, and we are taking things to a new level – 63 levels to be exact - at The Foundation Room in The Mandalay Bay.

Bet on the luck of the Irish with thrilling casino games or, delight in an Irish whiskey tasting experience as we infuse the heart of Las Vegas with the spirit of Ireland. Don’t miss the chance to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories with fellow Workday Rising attendees!

The Workday Customer Appreciation Party - Workday loves to thank their customers for their loyalty and support by throwing an amazing bash that features live performances by famous artists, delicious food and drinks, and plenty of opportunities to mingle. Held in Las Vegas’ Allegiant stadium, this year looks set to be better than ever!

Whatever you get up to, hopefully you have a great time at your first Workday Rising and get the chance to explore, learn and enjoy yourself. We will be in the expo hall all week so be sure to drop by the Kainos booth and say hello!
