Kainos is recognised for leading Digital Transformation
Kainos is delighted to be shortlisted in two categories for the 2018 Digital Leaders Awards and join The Digital Leaders 100 list. The list showcases and recognises individuals and organisations who demonstrate an innovative approach to digital transformation across the public, private and non-profit sectors.
On Thursday 12th April, Digital Leaders announced the DL100 2018 shortlist and opened the public vote which is will put the 100 names into a final order. Anyone can vote, for as many categories as they like, by following the vote button on the website. The top three in each category are then given to the judges who will decide the winner.
Kainos has been nominated in the Cyber Resilience Innovation of the Year category. Kainos partnered with the Cabinet Office to design, develop and securely support a new system for individuals to register to vote. An incredible 30 million applications to register have made since the service was transformed from the old paper-based system into an exemplar citizen focused digital public service.
Kainos’ Check MOT History project, carried out in partnership with the DVSA has also been shortlisted in the Cross-sector Digital Collaboration of the Year category. Kainos has worked with DVSA to build and maintain a one team ethos that underpins an open and collaborative way of working to deliver digital services. Government Digital Services (GDS) hailed the MOT project as “…one of the best agile projects we have seen in flight in government to date, and can be seen as an exemplar of the benefits of working collaboratively in an agile way.”
The Awards night will take place on 21st June in London, and will welcome more than 400 Digital Leaders, influencer and innovators from across the UK to the Sheraton Grand Park Lane Hotel.
